Rough Riders

We almost got drenched by a fountain outside the Dr. Pepper ballpark when we were taking this picture. Apparently it comes on automatically every few minutes. We doged it just in time, but I don't think the boys would have minded if we hadn't.

Ethan is desperately trying to find the goldfish cracker that Jake is hiding inside the baseball glove...
Just checking the score
A few weeks ago we went to a Minor League Baseball game at the Dr. Pepper stadium in Frisco. We chose tickets for the outfield seating - the grass - which turned out to be perfect for an active 1 year old, not to mention a fantastic view! We had so much fun! The Texas Rough Riders killed the other team by a long shot, so it wasn't too intense, but it was just great to be together as a family anyway. Ethan had about 5 million goldfish crackers while we watched, so we're pretty sure he enjoyed his first semi-pro ballgame.

Okay, so what I want to know is.....does the fountain shoot out Dr. Pepper instead of water? :)

This looked like so much fun. I totally want to do this with the kids. The older ones have been to a game before, but I haven't.

BTW, love the cute new look of your blog! Stylin'!

We went to a Rough Riders game last week and thoroughly enjoyed it, too. But, they lost at our game. :( I wish the fountains really did spray Dr. Pepper instead of water...

Sorry, I'm not much of a "tummy shots" girl:). But that's pretty funny about Jake's shirt... I hadn't even noticed it until you pointed that out. Classic!

Looks like fun!! I can't say that I've ever sat through a whole baseball game. I have the attention span about as long as Ethan probably. :) HEy, how does movies in the park this Saturday sound? I think the movie is We Are Marshall. It starts around 8pm so I don't know if that is an issue with Ethan. If so, we can leave early. Let me know! We could even bring a giant watermelon to share!

Laurel took my question. I would have loved to see DR. PEPPER shoot out of the fountain. Baseball games are so fun. You did have good "Seats". Miss You.
